The 2012 AFL Round 12 results are out for the West Coast Eagles versus Carlton match. The Eagles love playing at Patersons statium and win with a great final quarter. There was a lot riding on this match for the Eagles, as it was their 600th AFL club match. A win will put them on top of the 2012 AFL ladder and they will get their 17th successive win at Patersons Stadium.

Carlton stood in their way and they have already lost four of the last five games. Judd wasn’t at his best today and he missed many opportunities. Chris Judd even vented his frustration in the final quarter by giving away a 50m penalty that resulted in a goal to the Eagles.

The West Coast Eagles had a fantastic final quarter, the other three quarters were scarred with many missed opportunities. There were 17 behinds and only 6 goals in the first three quarters for the Eagles. Carlton on the other hand were less wasteful with their attempts, scoring 8 goals and 8 behinds by the end of the third.

The Blues had the lead at the end of the third but couldn’t maintain their pressure in the final quarter. West Coast’s Naitanui had a great AFL match and played well in defence and offence.

The final 2012 AFL Round 12 results for the West Coast Eagles versus Carlton match looked like so:

WCE: 3.3 5.12 6.17 10.19 (79)
C: 2.3 4.4 8.8 10.9 (69)

Eagles have moved to the top of the 2012 AFL ladder and will most likely make the final. They have everything going right for them this year and look like real premiership hopefuls.
